Meet Trenton.

Trenton Laffoon served in full-time pastoral ministry for nearly ten years, taking on roles as both a pastor and an executive leader. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the challenges churches face when it comes to communicating their vision effectively.

In 2021, while he was planting a church in the Chicago area, Trenton began exploring freelance creative work. By 2023, he made the decision to fully commit to building Creative Arts Department, a business designed to serve as an extension of creative departments for churches and nonprofits.

After relocating to Kansas City, Missouri, to be closer to family and leverage strong network connections, Creative Arts Department expanded its reach and now supports organizations both nationally and globally. Their clients range from small church plants to large congregations, universities, missionaries, and startup nonprofits.

What sets Trenton apart is his unique background. He is not just a designer who studied churches; he is a former pastor and creative director who has experienced the challenges his clients face firsthand. This dual perspective enables him to bridge the gap between pastoral vision and creative execution in ways that traditional agencies often cannot.

My heart is to serve pastors and creatives so the church grows and the Kingdom expands.
